Instructions:
It's easy to get this program working. Make sure to Download PPLive first from the official page or use 1 of the mirror downloads. If you've done so, prepare to install. Select a location to save it and start installing. At the end of the installation you can select how to sort the channellist. Best is to sort it in category, so on content. Then you got music, sports and other categories in your channellist.
You don't need to install Flashget, so unselect it and press the I... to finnish.

When you're done with that, run the program for the first time. On your right you will see a channellist with alot of channels. Just click a category and double click a channel to start it. It will start buffering, as you can see on 1 of the screenshots. Then you will get it playing.

The menu is in English so you won't have any problems with it, just follow the menu on top if you want to allow more connections for better buffering, it won't be hard, it's easy so just check it out!

Playing in Media Player:
You can select it inside the PPLive Play screen : Right mouse --> Play in Default Player(D). Or you can open http://127.0.0.1:8888 in MediaPlayer. Make sure to load the channel first .

PPMate
PPMate is a new program and uses a new and excellent technique. Unlike most popular P2P-TV programs this program uses the English language and it has almost every Asian channel. Right now PPMate is probably the most used program to watch live football matches.

Instructions:
PPMate is after all an easy program to work with. It's fully in English, so you won't get problems with finding the options or adjusting them.
Installing is also easy, click the download link (you can choose the latest download, always the latest version, or for example 1.7.33 which is so far the best and stable on)
--> start the download --> Run installer --> make sure to select English --> and just follow the steps. In the end when you start PPMate you will be asked about the ISP. Just run the auto check, the fastest server will be selected then. China Netcom should be fine if you want to select it manually.

And there you go, you got the program working and you can see the channellist on your right. There are Live channels and VOD (recorded) channels. Live channels are the most interesting. It's sorted in several categories. Doubleclick a channel to start the buffering. Every channel has also a Quality info, to see how good it;'s running.

So it's easy to enjoy it, to watch Sports channel see our schedules for live events, but feel free to check it out by yourself.

Playing in Media Player:
It's easy to play it in your own MediaPlayer, when playing a channel go to the channel window --> right mouse --> open with default player. The channel will open then in WMP.

Unlike PPMate, PPStream is made for Chinese users like most P2P-TV programs so going through the channels won’t be an easy job (However you have the P2P Remote Control for this). If you don’t care about the language then this is also an amazing program. It has a lot channels which allows you to watch almost every popular match on the net.

Instructions:
PPSttream can be a bit harder to install. Just download it, like usual, and click the installed. Go to next, choose a location to install it on, select next and options, and again next. Make sure you don't block the installation with your firewall. At the end you can finish the setup, most important (if you haven't done so yet) so optimalize the amount of connections, the TCP limit. This is needed to make everything run faster.

Then you can start PPStream, and close the window that pop-ups (C). Then you can see the player to watch channels. Use our schedule to get redirected, or check out the English menu.

Playing in Media Player:
Watching it in Windows Media Player is easy, right mouse in the main PPStream window --> Select the ....(D) . Make sure it's selected, after a channel is buffered it will start in the external Mediaplayer.

SopCast
Unlike PPMate, PPStream is made for Chinese users like most P2P-TV programs so going through the channels won’t be an easy job (However you have the P2P Remote Controller for this). If you don’t care about the language then this is also an amazing program. It has a lot channels which allows you to watch almost every popular match on the net.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page, and download the ZIP File. Unzip it, and run the Sopcast.exe file. It will ask you to install, so just do so. It's smart to close your browser (IE or Firefox) before installing.

* How to watch?
There are 2 ways to watch:
- Start a channel from our schedule pages, you click a link and then it starts Sopcast + the channel.
- Start sopcast manually and select a channel. You can login as anonymous, or register a free account on Sopcast.com . By clicking any channel it will open a new frame with the channel loading.

Playing in Media Player:
There are a few ways of opening it into a Mediaplayer. Just watch a channel, and then open url in WMP --> http://localhost:8902/tv.asf . The end port can change into 8912 or 8922.
You can also start a channel from the player and press the most right little button on the right of the FS(fullscreen) button. It will open into the External player.

Channels:
Many main channels, even international ones but also Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Ofcourse the sports channels like the Truesports, Guandong, SHTV, CCTV5, Eurosport + Eurosport 2 and CableSoccer + CableSports. The channellist changes much, be aware.

Instructions:
Download TVAnts from 1 of the locations, and follow the installer closely. Then you're soon done.

Start TVANts, you can add servers but that isn't needed yet. Go to the search Tab to load the channellist, when you click a channel it will open in teh channels tab and you can see it's buffering. Click open to open the player window, or click stop to stop it, start to start a channel if it isn't running already. You can also lock a running channel, go to modify and press lock channel status. You can't stop the channel then unless you unlock it again.

In the charts tab you can see the upload and download speed, Performance gives other info and events displays warnings, it's like a logbook.

Playing in Media Player:
To open TVANts in Mediaplayer: start the channel --> right mouse when playing --> properties --> copy the location --> open url in WMP and paste the location. This doesn't add much, the TVAnts player is also pretty easy.

TVUplayer
TVUPlayer is probably one of the most easiest to use P2P-TV program. You just need to download and install the program and double click on the desktop shortcut and there it is! Just click on one of the channels in the list and wait a minute or two and you can enjoy the stream!

TVU is also fully English so the installation is easy. Make sure you've got Winzip or Winrar to unzip the file. Then simply run the Setup.exe file and follow the installation guide. Make sure to download the Latest version!

The settings are also very easy. You can either load a channel by clicking on it, or by clicking on our links, or by typing the channelnumber when TVU is open. You can mute the sound, lower the volume, see the bitrate of the channel and the signal. The signal shows you how good it buffers. Fully up = best buffer, if it's only 2 lines it can take longer before you get a picture and it isn't stable then. You can also sort channels on category, or add those you like the most to your favourites.
Double clicking when playing will make it full screen, and you can also choose to keep the channellist away.

You can open a channel in your own MediaPlayer by opening http://localhost:8901 in WMP when a channel is buffered.

P2Ptv Remote Control makes life easy! You are probably tired of checking all these Chinese channels in PPStream to find the channel you want. There is no need to do that anymore! With this great program you can select the icon that belongs to the P2P program and you will get the channel list but this time in English. Swarmplayer - Download Or Download

In centralised video streaming systems, such as YouTube, a single set of computers provides the video to all viewers. Such a solution requires a massive number of computers (like YouTube has) to serve all of the videos to a large set of users.

Peer-to-peer technology takes a different approach. The video stream is served to a few users, after which users exchange and forward the video stream among each other. The users thus help serving the video, reducing or even removing the need for a central server park. Starting a YouTube-like system becomes orders of magnitude cheaper when P2P technology is used. The downside of peer-to-peer is that the quality is harder to control since the responsibility of forwarding the video is shifted from the central server park to the users themselves. If the users cannot or will not forward the video among each other, the quality of the system will suffer.

How to Watch

Also this is easy. Go to our schedule pages. When you see a Swarmplayer stream just click Play and it will open Swarmplayer and start the stream. No buffer after 5 or 10 seconds? Close it and click the Play link again.

Instructions:
The program itself is easy to run.
It doesn't contain any installer at all, just download it and start it, so make sure you cope the Viviplay.exe to your desktop to make it easier to load everytime.

Just doubleclick on the download to run it, and then you will get a channellist. The channels are sorted in categories, in which Cable TV is the most interesting with the Sports channels, others are also nice to check to get some nice movies, cartoons or TV series. Simply close TVKoo by pressing the X button on top.

UUSee network television in 2007, as the network is eventually built a brand new network television viewing software, users can use the software free of charge to watch the road more than 500 new channels, for a total of more than 1,000 attractions.
The new version has a more stable and efficient system kernel; Using leading international standard peer-to-peer transmission, video codec technology and the deployment of distributed servers to ensure that users can more fluent watching high-definition video content.

Channels:
CCTV Soccer, BTV6, GreatSports and alot of others like GoalTV1/GoalTV2 , ESPN/Star Phillipines + Taiwan and many other channels.

Instructions:
UUSee is more diffucult to install + to work with. The new version, 2007, is fully in Chinese. That's difficult, unless we find a good translation for it. The older version (Try Mirror) has a better interface. Mainly you need to follow our guides and our listed channels, unless you like to discover stuff.

Or, use the second Download, and tfollow the guide. Stay alert on extra installation, when it does ask for toolbar chose the second option down, not the first one!

How to install?

First go to 1 of the downloads. Run it, and you get a chinese interface. Click on the N (Next) . Click I (Accept) to accept the chinese rules. Then choose a location to install it in, and press the I button to start installing it. P is to get back, C is to cancel this installation. If you get a virus warning: there isn't any virusses in it, it's safe.

Warning: If you do it wrong, you will install Chinese characters + a toolbar !!! Best is to install Mirror 1

Then unselect the 2 options and click finish to end the installation. Otherwise you install add-ons.
You can start it manually yet and discover it, or you can use our listed channel links to start a channel easier. That's the best thing you can do as searching is hard.
To quit UUSee, press the x on top. Then right under on your desktop make sure to close it also, right mouse and close, and then use Y to close it fully, otherwise it will continue to run at the background.

Click on any of the channelswe got scheduled on Veetle and it will prompt you to download and install Veetle TV Player. After it's installed, video playback should immediately start within your browser.

It's a webbased player, so just download the player, install it, go to the webplayer, run the ActiveX and start watching.

Not more to do, it's like mediaplayer watching but then over p2p. Enjoy it!!!

Known issue: It might stop every 15 or 20 seconds, just click the standby button and it plays again!

If you ever want to change things

Right, this is something you will rarely ever need to do but it is always good to know.
Should you ever want to tune the pixelfusion plugin, just RIGHT CLICK on any playing stream/video/ (be it sopcast, WMP, or TVANTS, (doesn’t work TVU yet) see below
And choose options.
The settings are pretty self explanatory. Feel free to check things out.

Plugin Properties

* Edge crispness - Allows adjustment of output sharpness to suit personal taste.
* Pixelfusion - Manually enable/disable Pixelfusion resolution enhancement, or automatically depending on source resolution and CPU speed.
* Enable Automatic lighting control - Allow auto contrast/brightness and anti-glare filter, to increase dynamic range and visibility of details in dark/bright areas.
* Bypass on High Definition Video - Bypass all processing on HD video, only uncheck with modern PCs.

Reported Problems:

This has been reported to cause a green image that blocks the video on OLD video graphics cards.
If this happens to you, Just disable the plugin by unticking its entry on the WMP above.
You may update your video drivers and things should work.

With Flashget you can easy record streaming media; here ya go on how to do it. See also the screenshots for help;

Using Sopcast

Make sure to start a stream, which is running. Click it from our site, or do it manually. When it's running, click right mouse on the streaming window --> properties --> Location --> Like this: http://127.0.0.1:8902/

Then start Flashget --> left on top, you see a green + with new under it. Click on it. Then you need to add a few things:

* URL: The location url, for sopcast this will be http://127.0.0.1:8902 , sometimes 8912 at the end
* Referrer: not important
* Category: Downloaded, that's easy to find back
* Save to: make sure to save it to a location where you got enough free space.
* Rename: give it an easy name, for example the name of the event so you can find it back easily later on

Then just leave all the field and press ok. Then the stream will start being downloaded, which means you will start recording the Sopcast program.
To stop it: just pause or delete it. You can also pause it to get some advertising blocks out of it, if you want to ...

Then how to open it? For me it had a .jc end, but you can open it with WMP. Go to the file --> open --> search for a program on your pc to open with --> Select mediaPlayer --> ignore the extension message, just press ok and it will start playing.

That's it, now you got a recorded event!

Start playing around a bith with it, all feedback is welcome on how to improve the record.

Using TVU

Location here is http://127.0.0.1:8901 ! rest should be the same.

Using TVAnts

You need to find the properties and then use that location, it changes much so you need to do this yourself, probably something like http://localhost:16800/1.asf

Then, (see the screenshot 1), click on the dot on top of the channel. Then it will ask you to open a file. This is an error in the program, open means save!.
So basically it asks you where to save it. Select a location, and save it to it by pressing Open.

Then, you get back to the channel window and the dot on top will be in red, which means recorded.
To stop the record, just press the red dot and it has stopped.

To open your record, search for it --> you saved it as an asf file, so you can open it with WMP directly. Double click it and there you got the record running.

Hello everyone.

I use Sopcast on Linux and got tired of gtk-sopcast not working, and wanted something more appealing than a commandline shell script, so I made a GUI for sopcast using wxWidgets and today I built a .deb-package.

SopLaunch is the package i built, and it uses the sp-sc command found in gtk-sopcast and you also need VLC.

Installing:
Download the two deb-packages and install them starting with gtk-sopcast.

Using:
Type in the command soplaunch in a terminal or something.
The soplaunch GUI should now start. Type in the address to the stream and press launch.
The program will "freeze" for 20 seconds, because soplaunch waits 20 seconds for the stream to buffer before launching VLC and opening the stream.

Known bugs:
*The program "freezes" when opening a stream. There probably is a simple workaround for this, but for now I just want to see if someone is actually going to use this program.
The way Soplaunch handles the sp-sc process is awful. The stream is launched as a separate process, so when you want to close the stream you manually have to look up and kill the process sp-sc

*The dependency of the package gtk-sopcast can easily be removed in the future and be replaced by including the sp-sc-binary.
*The code looks like crap.
This version is only a beta, mostly to see if anyone seems to use the program. I will fix the bugs, process handling and dependencies if anyone shows interest in the program.

If you got PPMate on your PC, it's easier:

* Startup PPMate.
* With Version 1 .7.33 --> Click right mouse on the PPMate Icon --> TCP/IP Patch or select it from Options.
* With the new Beta Version 2.0.0.x --> run XP TCP patch under "tools".
